The Company:

Our client is a non for profit community focused company that provide housing solutions to a diverse range of members in the community. With over 250 properties covering primarily the Northern NSW region, our client is responsible for providing tenancy management, property management & support services in line with Tier 2 National Registration compliance requirements & Community Housing Standards.

The Role:

This is a varied and busy role which requires you to have a keen eye for detail and exceptional leadership skills. You need to be a strategic thinker, someone who is actively committed to continually improving systems and procedures and also someone who can take control of asset management as you will be contributing to budgeting & financial control and reporting to the Directors of the company.

You will lead and manage a small team across all offices. You will show initiative and be the 'go to' person where training is required.

You will also be responsible for the full management of a small portfolio consisting of 25-30 affordable housing properties, this will include selection criteria, addressing and coordinating maintenance needs, attending regular routine inspections and managing any disputes

This role is based in far southern Gold Coast and you will be required to regularly travel between all offices located throughout Northern NSW. There is the option to base yourself in one of the NSW offices for the right candidate.

- Manage a small portfolio of 25-30 affordable housing properties

- Lead and manage a small team across Northern NSW

- Asset management & budgeting

- Reporting to the directors

The Ideal Candidate:

- Demonstrated experience within the housing community in a similar role

- Whilst not essential, relative tertiary qualifications will be looked upon favourably

- Knowledge of Cintaro an advantage

- Current driver's license

- Current real estate certificate of registration

- Mature minded, strategic thinker

- A genuine passion for the community housing industry
